Specified around your application.
Not an off-the-shelf pack.
OMI develops custom battery systems from 12V upward, combining cell or chemistry selection, pack architecture, packaging, protection and OMI-developed battery management systems into one engineered OEM solution.
DISCUSS YOUR BATTERY REQUIREMENTS →
The battery specification starts with the machine—not a catalogue number.
OMI works with the OEM to define the electrical, packaging, environmental, life and integration requirements before selecting the battery architecture.
Select the technology around the duty cycle.
OMI can package established battery technologies into application-specific systems rather than forcing the OEM to design around a standard pack.

Cell chemistry developed for higher-rate charging and demanding OEM applications.
OMI is developing its own LnFP cylindrical-cell technology as part of its broader battery platform. The objective is to combine the safety and durability advantages associated with phosphate-based chemistry with faster charging capability and application-specific cell engineering.
For OEM customers, the value is not simply the cell. OMI can integrate cell selection, pack architecture, mechanical packaging, BMS, diagnostics and production engineering into one custom battery system.

The pack and BMS are engineered as one system.
OMI has developed its own configurable battery-management capability so an OEM can specify the required battery performance, diagnostics and vehicle interfaces through one engineering partner.
The battery has to survive the application—and be practical to manufacture.
OMI carries the battery system from design through validation and production engineering, including the tooling, process controls and testing required for consistent OEM supply.
